Two of the remaining houses at Foz do Cunene have been renovated to accommodate 15 people in reasonable comfort. Beds and bedding are supplied, flushing toilets and showers with hot water have been installed, and a generator provides electric power. This lodge is not permanently manned as staff and supplies are brought in from the Flamingo Lodge when required. Visits are usually planned as excursions from Flamingo Lodge, but arrangements are made to accommodate groups planning to arrive on their own - provided that sufficient advance notice is given. Visitors are advised not to arrive without having made prior arrangements as they will fall foul with the police garrison stationed nearby.
